Customer benefits:
The MDAS system ensures the procedures of goods declaration and customs clearance at the Customs and expands the accessibility of these services to Lithuanian and EU economic entities. The system enables the Customs of the Republic of Lithuania to perform its obligations to the European Commission and implement the e-Customs initiative.
Reference:
“It was an interesting and challenging project – long in terms of duration and complicated in terms of distributed teams (three companies, namely, HP, SKG and ERP, took part in the Project) and changing requirements of the European Union and the client. However, despite all the obstacles, the Project was implemented and launched into operation in a timely manner and it is further used successfully. From a technical point of view, this system is currently one of the most sophisticated systems in the European Union, which complies with the new EU electronic declaration processing and control (ECS and ICS) requirements“.
Lukas Simokaitis, Technical Architect of the Project.
