Corporate Ethic

ERP's policy is that the affairs of the company and its subsidiaries are conducted at all times in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations in the countries in which we operate, and, as well, in accordance with high ethical standards. All directors, senior executives and other employees are expected to act lawfully, in a professional manner and with the utmost integrity in their dealings with our shareholders, customers, suppliers, advisers and regulators, competitors, the community and each other, striving at all times to enhance the reputation and performance of the Group.

1. Ethical Conduct Generally

All ERP personnel should understand that ethical conduct is a fundamental part of their duty to our shareholders, customers, suppliers, advisers and regulators, competitors, the community and fellow employees.

Ethical behaviour in business, personal and community conduct extends beyond the duties imposed by laws or regulations and clearly includes:

  • honesty and loyalty in dealings with the company and fellow employees;
  • scrupulous avoidance of deceptive practices or dishonourable conduct which would reflect unfavourably on ERP;
  • avoidance of the temptation to pursue personal gain or advantage in conflict with the interests of the company;
  • striving to exercise sound business judgment, while providing the highest possible standard of service to our customers;
  • the proper use of the company's resources and information.

By strict compliance with local laws and regulations and observance of these principles we will demonstrate that we are aware of our responsibilities as a corporate citizen in whatever country we operate.

2. Business and Trade Practices Policy

Sound business practice requires the company and its employees to compete fairly, honestly, and lawfully with its competitors.

In most countries in which ERP operates there are consumer protection and anti-monopoly legislative provisions to be observed. ERP's policy is to comply with these laws. In addition to purely legal requirements:

  • We will strive to increase customer satisfaction by providing customers with quality products and services that are innovative and responsive to their requirements;
  • We will treat our suppliers fairly, honestly, and objectively;
  • We will treat fellow employees in a fair and even-handed manner and foster a culture rich in diversity that is based on trust, mutual respect, teamwork, and integrity;
  • We will aggressively pursue growth and profitability objectives, while always keeping ethical standards in the forefront of our activities.

ERP's policy is to ensure that all relevant employees are made aware of these provisions, and of the need to comply with them, by an education program which includes the distribution of compliance materials and by the explanation and elaboration of these requirements by independent experts on a regular basis. This EU procedure is adapted as appropriate for other countries in which ERP operates.

3. Transparency in Competition and Delivery

ERP will serve only those clients who we are competent to serve, offering only those services that we are competent to deliver. In selling our services and products, we will compete aggressively, but only legally and ethically. It is wholly unacceptable for us to receive or give bribes.

In delivering services we will fulfill all of our contractual obligations, and report and charge honestly for our services. In both sales and service delivery, we will respect the confidentiality of information provided to us by our Clients, taking active measures to safeguard the information and data entrusted to us. Confidential client information shall never be disclosed or used for the benefit of a Third Party, disclosing it only when we are required to do so by legal or regulatory requirements.

We are committed to ensuring clear and transparent procurements by both the public and private sectors for our services and will operate only in strict accordance with international and local procurement regulations, avoiding all possible conflict of interest situations. If we believe a procurement process to be compromised, we will take active steps to bring the situation to the attention of the appropriate authorities.

We will be good corporate citizens in the countries in which we work, co-operating fully with measures to eliminate corruption and financial crimes.
